Limbaugh: 'If Obama Fails, America Is Saved'

Thanks for the career of promoting the ideology that nearly destroyed our economy in 8 short years, Rush. Nice to know you want the destruction to continue.

Steele: "I'm Done" Reaching Out To Obama (VIDEO)

Thanks for promoting and supporting the ideology that took down the American economy in 8 short years, Steele, and continuing to advocate the exact same. You need to address how you're dealing with that before you want anyone to deal rationally with you.

CNN In Third Place In Prime Time For First Time

There's a large segment of logic-impaired, belief-based people who are easily mislead by the childish fallacy m.o. of Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, etc. You'd think even the logic-impaired would at least be able to re-evaluate after their ideology resulted in comprehensive disaster.

Limbaugh Attacks "Barack Ogabe" And His "Angry" Wife (AUDIO)

It's an incredible achievement to get people to be passionately against their own interests. What's even more incredible is all it takes is the constant employ of the most typical textbook fallacies. It constitutes a failure of education.

Limbaugh Attacks "Barack Ogabe" And His "Angry" Wife (AUDIO)

There is of course, no consistent link between free markets and higher living standards, Rush. The world's highest living standards exist in countries with more socialistic economic policies than the U.S. But what Rush says is good enough as primary source for his hapless belief-based demographic.

Specter Stuns Dems And Labor, But EFCA Fight Not Over

Republicans are the enemy of all working people and their families, and they're "gleeful" about it. Their ideology deserves to go down in flames permanently. Hopefully America will rise to the occasion.

O'Reilly Producer Stalks Amanda Terkel: THE VIDEO

So "evil" is when someone documents something Bill O'Reilly says. Plus it constitutes "far left propaganda," and anyone who does it is technically a "loon." I get it, thanks Bill! What would we do without you playing God?

Capitalism and Moral Sentiments

The OP said Wallstreet practiced fundamental capitalism. Although I agree there has been interference in the market in lots of ways, the more free-market policies are implemented (dereg and accelerated tax-cuts-for-the-rich, etc.), the worse things got, and fast.

Free-market capitalism is simply a welfare-for-the-rich on the backs of working people program. It's 1. morally wrong, and 2. unsustainable.

Wall Street CEOs Push Back On Bonus Tax: "Terribly Unfair"

So I take it one of the qualities that make these executives so valuable to their companies is an off-the-charts sense of entitlement.

Snowe To Dems: Grow A Pair

"you have no clue what this does to scaring away private capital from out banking system, which needs it desperately. without the banks, the economy is toast"

Baloney. For starters, populist reaction is to absurd executive compensation from tax dollars, not investor capital.

Having said that, pragmatic catering to the investment class for the last 28 years, exacerbated the last 8, was what brought this disaster on. Welfare-for-the-rich on the backs of working people has been 1. morally wrong, and 2. (surprse!) unsustainable. "Populism" is realism at this point.

Congress, White House Pointing Fingers Over Who Killed Bonus Provision

It's wrong to blame the disaster on Bush; he did not implement rightwing ideology all on his own. The Republican party and rightwing media (Fox and all the rightwing pundits and clowns parroting rightwing thinktanks) promoted it and backed it lockstep every step of the way. It was an ideologically-generated disaster.

Limbaugh Defends AIG From "Lynch Mob ... Ginned Up By Obama"

Why is Limbaugh able to make a great career employing the most basic textbook fallacies? The issue is not whether or not they got paid. There really is a failure of education in this country.

Fox News Apologizes For Misleading Viewers With Old Clip Of Joe Biden (Video)

Fox's m.o. of deception is well documented. Having said that, most of what I see on Fox "News" doesn't even attempt to be informative. They prefer to just line up a bunch of rightwing gasbags feigning indignation about some cherry-picked obscurity that supports their demo's belief-based misconceptions.

Steele's Tour-De-Force: Compares Obama To Nixon, Declares "Ultimate Political Armageddon," Backs Challenges Against Republicans

"And the idea that free enterprise, free markets, free people are going to battle an oppressive, repressive, domineering government."

George W. Bush must find a lot of solace in the fact his party successors--floundering in the shame of causing a historical economic disaster--can do no better than impersonate him.

Hip-GOP

Too many people are onto the GOP's ideological lies. I really don't know what conservatives can do about that at this point. It's just a historical tragedy we had to experience the amount of damage inflicted by rightwing ideology before a critical mass woke up. I just hope now it prevents it from ever being repeated.

Jack Cafferty: GOP Becoming A Cartoon

The Republicans have no such opportunity to run from their Bush/Cheney legacy, because they passionately promoted it and backed it every step of the way. Bush mouthed the exact same ideological cannards as Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, and O'Reilly do to this day. Government largesse and intrusion are fine with them--as long as it serves their function of transferring wealth from working people to the superrich.

"Why does the GOP continue to listen to Limbaugh? He has a proven track record of being 100% WRONG!!!"

Rush's ideology was implemented by the Bush admin. Bush mouthed the exact ideology Limbaugh does--verbatim--and got elected with it, twice. Rush promoted and fully and passionately backed Bush every step of The Disaster. Nobody should be letting Limbaugh get away with hiding from that now.

Karl Rove Agrees To Testify

It's really sad to see them still have media credibility after their ideology sent everything it touched into a tailspin--economically a historical tailspin. "We're 100 Percent Confident" EFCA Will Pass: Union Official

We need to do our part too.

*The vaporation of the middle class has coincided with the waning of unions. Workers need a voice to restore balance and efficiency to our economy.

*And to those who parrot the idea that unions have been bad for our big 3 automakers, explain that Japan' automaker CEO's actually credit Japan's unions for their success.

* Also explain to people why we should never shop at Home Depot--I've been spreading that word and why a lot lately.
