It's wrong to blame the disaster on Bush; he did not implement rightwing ideology all on his own. The Republican party and rightwing media (Fox and all the rightwing pundits and clowns parroting rightwing thinktanks) promoted it and backed it lockstep every step of the way. It was an ideologically-generated disaster.
